Ilkeston took the kick off taken in safely by Mansfield who ran it back at them hard, it was only minutes before Sam Troop ran a Try in and Harry took the Conversion.
Mansfield 7 – Ilkeston 0

Ilkeston restart , Mansfield took it well and move the ball around playing again this week with fire, only a matter of minutes and Harry runs a Try and takes the Conversion.
Mansfield 14 – Ilkeston 0

Ilkeston restart taken in well by Mansfield who moves the ball, again breaking Ikeston's line running hard, Finn runs a Try but the Conversion is missed.
Mansfield 19 – Ilkeston 0

Mansfield with less the 10 minutes in think they have won this and ease off, this lets Ilkeston back into the game. The play however does stay in the middle of the and there half until they catch Mansfield with an overlap and run a Try in but no Conversion.

Mansfield restart and chase the ball hard keeping pressure on Ilkeston but not quite the way they did in the first 10 minutes. Play goes back and forth Mansfield not giving much ground and making deep attacks into their 22 but not finishing it off, half time whistle goes.

Second Half
Mansfield restart, Ilkeston take the ball well and come at Mansfield hard. Mansfield work hard for the ball yet making it hard work for themselves, reward comes as Mansfield turn the ball over and break out moving the ball out to the backs for Will H to take the ball over for a Try, no Conversion.
Mansfield 24 – Ilkeston 5

Ilkeston restart, Mansfield take the ball and move it well but again they seem to have taken their foot off the gas. Ilkeston attacking the Mansfield line and breaking it for them to run a Try in and Conversion.

Restart Ilkeston take the ball well and come on to Mansfield hard, something seems to be missing from them. They are still defending well enough and turn the ball over and push forward hard and as the play breaks down one of the Ilkeston players is down and hurt, it takes around 10 minutes to check him over and get the stretcher to take him off the pitch. The play continues lineouts are working ok for both teams. The same can't be said for Mansfield scrum today with the changes Mansfield had to make today they got pushed back. Well the play moves on and Ilkeston are attacking hard, they are working well and they get what they want a Try but no Conversion.
Mansfield 24 – Ilkeston 17

Mansfield restart and they chase the ball well, it looked like they had some fire back in their belly’s moving the ball around going for a quick reply to Ilkeston score. Mansfield were camped down on Ilkeston Try-Line time after time, Ilkeston keep them out and Mansfield got a penalty given against them. Ilkeston clear their line. Mansfield gets the ball and come on to Ilkeston hard ass Harry makes a break through Try but no Conversion.
Mansfield 29 – Ilkeston 17

Ilkeston take the restart Mansfield take it well and attack again yet play is breaking down to quick and easy, Ilkeston take full advantage and run a soft Try, no Conversion.
Mansfield 29 – Ilkeston 24

It was getting close as Mansfield take the restart, Ilkeston take it well and try to go for the win but Mansfield kick up a gear and take control for the last 10 minutes coming close twice to scoring Trys.
Final Whistle goes it's a win for Mansfield 29 – Ilkeston 24.
